Currently down 20 lbs exactly. I believe I’ve nearly gotten rid of most of this extra water weight that I’ve been carrying around! I am going to start walking with my little so that I can get some cardio exercise in before I finally return to the gym to lift. My prepregnancy weight was 206 lbs. My goal is to actually get down further than that but I’m a huge nonbeliever in the scale (since lbs doesn’t always mean healthy weight). Current goals: 1. Get to prepregnancy weight first. 2. Continue to eat healthy, portioned meals & up water intake. 3. Once cleared by doctor at 6 weeks PP, get back to the gym and slowly start lifting again. |

Sounds like a good plan! Don't forget to indulge here or there though! Cutting yourself from all treats that might not be "healthy" is a good way to set yourself up for frustration and failure, so indulge here or there and certainly enjoy the new baby! Congratulations Moon! |

I second siib. Cutting back every bit of fun food is one of the worst things you can do. Treat yourself on the occasion for sure! Also, as one who has lost weight, never underestimate the power of losing weight by walking. :) I power walk with weights so that I can gain upper body strength as well and thereby kill two birds with one stone haha. |
