Hey HP!

Just a quick update to let you know that we will be doing a massive account purge of old/inactive accounts.

Any account that hasn't been logged into or which has been banned for more than 5 years is at risk of getting deleted. This means all accounts with a "last login" date 2012 or before will be on our purge list.

This is just to help keep things more organized and get rid of "useless" information on the server.

Doing a purge really won't affect any active players, but we are using this opportunity to remind you that occasionally account purges DO happen, and to make sure you keep all of your login information saved and your email addresses up to date so that you don't eventually lose one of your accounts!

Also, any animals on purged accounts will be sent to the HA and placed up for sale.

P.S. In addition, I will be removing the stat on the login page that shows the number of accounts and replacing it with "active players" which will show how many accounts have been logged into in the last 24 hours (or maybe the last week or both, TBD).

I believe all of mine - even my banned ones - have been logged on in the past year.

Yes! Any account number which is deleted will be back in the available for purchase pool.

And yeah, like I said, this shouldn't affect anyone who has played HP anytime in the recent past. If an account hasn't been logged into for 6 years, though, the chances of the player coming back or even remembering that they have the account is pretty low. Most of the accounts I have purged so far today haven't been logged into since the day they were made in 2009. This will be a pretty long project though since I have to check each account for animals and mod logs.

There are a few I am eyeing. XD

I have a few that were banned but have my animals on them. Plus, a low-numbered one that I can't access because I'd have too many basics. And I have their logins and passwords. :

 @murd. the animals on thr banned accounts - since theyre banned for too many basics I can transfer them out to another account for you.

Just a reminder if anyone has animals on a banned account of your own we can transfer them out to an account of your choosing!
